She also points out that it seems someone, most likely Salem, has been systematically hunting down people with such powers. She does know that the power comes from the desire to protect life from the Grimm. Maria herself never knew much but she does point out that back in the vision from Jinn the God of Creation himself had Silver Eyes. Ruby steps outside and ends up having a talk with Maria about their shared power of the Silver Eyes. Eventually everyone decides to take some time for themselves. Worse however is that Jaune decides to take his frustrations out on poor Oscar. They take it about as well as Team RWBY did. So our heroes head back to Jaune's sister's home and Jaune, Ren and Nora are filled in about the REAL history of the world. SO Cordovin has no interesting in helping the team, she is however VERY interested in taking Weiss home, far too interested for my liking. Speaking of, it seems Maria and SO Cordovin are enemies, apparently because of, and I shit you not, cashews. Even Maria points out that Command probably stuck her in Argus just to get rid of her. SO Cordovin is what they call in fiction a "Neidermeyer": an officer who thinks to highly of themselves even when it is transparently obvious they are not cut out for the military. They attempt to convince the guards that they have legitimate business in the base, even mentioning that they know General Ironwood personally but the two guards are legitimately insane! Eventually the team decides to tell them they have Weiss and "are trying to get her home safely", this brings out the Base Commander: Special Operative Caroline Cordovin. With Team RWBY at the entrance to the Atlesian Military Base at Argus after having the gate quite literally shut in their faces. This week's episode of RWBY picks up right where the last left off.
